last night i completed week 2 day 2 of the C25K, i struggled a bit and my pace was slower than it was the night before, but i still didn’t walk when i was meant to be running, which i’m insanely proud of .
using ped here are my results:
before completing the c25k (what i did during the day)
3889 steps, 116.67kcal burnt, 2.33km
results from doing the C25K
3877 steps, 116.31kcal burnt, 2.32km
overall results from the day
7766 steps, 232.98kcal, 4.65km
because my pace was slower my results are lower than they were last time, so i fell just under the 5k mark from both day 1 +day 2 of week 2 put together, which is a bit disappointed but oh well. when i next do the shred tomorrow evening, i will have smashed the 5k a week target and be well on the way to hitting running 20k in a month target.
today was also weigh in day, i’ve lost 2lbs over this week, which isn’t too bad considering i haven’t monitered my intake in any way except noting that my appetite has decreased. i’m now down to 13st 9lb, so only 3st 9lb to go before i hit my target and then i have the fun task of maintain that weight!
decided i need to buy some running shoes! and i’ve found a really snazzy pair on ebay for only a fiver, yes i’m cheap. my pedometer was only £5.99. i would love a fitbit pedometer but i can’t justify the expense of them just to calculate my calorie loss etc when my £5.99 one works great and that i’ve already fallen in love with. i’ve also purchased a watch pedometer, again only a fiver, to help measure my daily exercise and the C25K seperately.
on another not only 3 more days of SDD left. i’m really looking forward to ditching this diet. i feel like it hasn’t done anything for me and was a bit of a waste of money. but we’ll see. i’ve heard that sometimes the inches and weight fall off a couple of days after you finish a diet or exercise programme as your body stores more fat to help repair muscle, at least with exercise! that will be interesting to see.
after the SDD diet is finished, i’m leaving it a couple of days before i start the 30 day shred to get my body back to normality.
